Surat Passport Office receives bomb threat on Tuesday (10 March); multiple hoax threats received in Ahmedabad on Monday (09 March)

As per reports, the passport office in Surat has received a bomb threat on Tuesday (10 March) morning. At present, police and bomb disposal squads are conducting search operations on the premises and further details are awaited.

The most recent threat comes after bomb threats issued to the Gujarat High Court and the Ahmedabad Rural Court on Monday (09 March). Special Operations Group (SOG), Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) and police rushed to the courts, evacuated them, and conducted a thorough check. No suspicious materials were found, and the threats were declared a hoax.
