As per the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), an earthquake of magnitude 4.6 was recorded in the Banda Sea, Indonesia, at approximately 1803 hours (local time) on Friday (06 March).

The earthquake occurred at a depth of approximately 197 kilometers. No tsunami warning has been issued following the earthquake.
