As per reports, a fire broke out near Madhyamgram Station area in Kolkata on Wednesday (04 March), with reports indicating that several shops are burning. Several fire engines have been dispatched to put out the fire.

Preliminary investigations suggest that a gas cylinder explosion caused the fire. Further details are currently awaited.
