As per reports, on Monday (02 March), Sudan issued a formal warning to Ethiopia, allegedly accusing it of permitting its territory to be used for launching drone attacks into Sudan.

• In a statement, Sudan’s foreign ministry alleged that throughout February and early March, drones entered Sudanese airspace from Ethiopian territory and targeted sites within Sudan, particularly in Blue Nile State.
• Khartoum described the alleged activity as a violation of national sovereignty and stated that it reserves the right to respond in defense of its territorial integrity. The statement marks the first official accusation by Sudan that Ethiopia is directly involved in the ongoing conflict, which has persisted for nearly three years.
• The allegations follow reports that armed groups operating in Sudan’s Blue Nile region, including the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), have conducted ground and aerial operations in border areas.
