As per reports, the Western Australia police stated that a man was arrested in Bindoon on Sunday (01 March) as he was preparing a terrorist act after a suspected plot to attack mosques. He allegedly wrote a manifesto detailing a plan for a mass attack.

The targets mentioned several mosques, the Western Australian Police headquarters, and the local parliament building.
