As per reports, a significant temperature drop is expected across multiple regions of Spain on Saturday (28 February) following the passage of a cold front entering from the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula. Temperatures are expected to decrease by approximately 8°C to 12°C across inland and eastern areas. Notable temperature drops are expected in the Basque Country, Navarre, La Rioja, eastern Castile and León, Aragon, western Catalonia, northeastern Castile-La Mancha, and inland Valencia. Light rainfall is expected along the Cantabrian coast and parts of eastern Spain.

Showers with possible thunderstorms are expected in the mountainous areas of southeastern Spain. Light frost is expected in northern inland and mountainous areas during the early hours of Sunday (01 March). Minimum temperatures in León are expected to approach -2°C. Haze and strong winds are expected in the Canary Islands. Suspended dust is expected to reduce visibility in the southern and eastern parts of the Iberian Peninsula.
