As per reports, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed progress towards a new trilateral negotiation format involving Ukraine, the US, and Russia, with the objective to finalise arrangements for security guarantees and prepare for a leaders-level summit. The next trilateral meeting is expected in early March in Abu Dhabi, UAE; however, a specific date and location have not been announced yet.
• On Thursday (26 February), Ukrainian and US delegations completed consultations in Geneva, Switzerland, discussing economic issues, long-term support mechanisms, and reconstruction of Ukraine.
• Russian state media reported Kremlin adviser Kirill Dmitriev was present in Geneva for talks with the US delegation, though the Ukrainian side did not confirm any meeting with him.
