The New Zealand Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) has announced that State Highway 01 at the Balclutha River Bridge will be closed to traffic due to street light maintenance works between 2100 hours (local time) on Sunday (22 February) and 0500 hours (local time) on Monday (23 February).

• The closure will be implemented in both directions during the stated period. Traffic will be cleared at the top of every hour for ten minutes in both directions.
• Motorists have been advised by NZTA to plan journeys accordingly and allow additional travel time. The works are weather dependent and may be postponed at short notice.
