As per reports, on Saturday (21 February), the leader of opposition, Rahul Gandhi was scheduled to appear before the Bhiwandi Additional Sessions Court in the 2014 RSS defamation case. Heightened security measures have been reported in Bhiwandi and while the VVIP convoy passed through Mulund area, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers held a protest and showed black flags to the convoy. Meanwhile, members of BJP also staged a major protest at Congress headquarters in Delhi.
