As per reports, at approximately 1615 hours local time (1615 hours UTC) on Wednesday (18 February), emergency services were activated following reports of a structural failure involving a high-voltage electricity pylon adjacent to the M4 motorway near Winnersh in Berkshire, England.

• Reports indicate that the affected section of the M4 motorway, between Junction 10 (Wokingham/Bracknell) and Junction 11 (Reading/Winnersh), is expected to be closed in both directions as a direct result of the incident.
• Multiple residential properties in the vicinity of the collapsed pylon were reportedly evacuated by emergency authorities, as a precautionary public safety measure due to the proximity of live electrical infrastructure and associated risk.
