As per reports, the Chinese New Year Parade is scheduled to take place in Washington DC on Sunday (22 February).
Parking restrictions and street closures are scheduled as part of the event.
• Emergency No Parking zones are scheduled to be implemented from 0600 hours local time (1100 hours UTC) until 1800 hours local time (2300 hours UTC) on Sunday (22 February) along H Street from 6th Street to 7th Street, northwest; I Street from 5th Street to 8th Street, northwest; 8th Street from I Street to G Street, northwest; G Street from 8th Street to 7th Street, northwest; 7th Street from G Street to I Street, northwest; and 6th Street from H Street to Massachusetts Avenue, northwest.
• H Street northwest between 6th Street and 7th Street is scheduled to be closed to vehicle traffic on Sunday (22 February) from approximately 0900 hours local time (1400 hours UTC) until 1800 hours local time (2300 hours UTC).
• I Street northwest between 5th Street and 7th Street, along with 6th Street northwest between H Street and Massachusetts Avenue, are scheduled to be closed to vehicle traffic on Sunday (22 February) from approximately 0900 hours local time (1400 hours UTC) until 1600 hours local time (2100 hours UTC).
• G Street northwest between 7th Street and 9th Street, H Street northwest between 5th Street and 9th Street, I Street northwest between 6th Street and 9th Street, 6th Street northwest between F Street and Massachusetts Avenue, 7th Street northwest between F Street and Massachusetts Avenue, and 8th Street northwest between G Street and I Street are scheduled to be closed to vehicle traffic on Sunday (22 February) from approximately 1300 hours local time (1800 hours UTC) until 1600 hours local time (2100 hours UTC).
