As per reports, the Fukuoka Metropolitan Fire Department reported that, at approximately 1639 hours (local time) on Tuesday (17 February), fire crews were deployed to respond to a building fire in the vicinity of 27 Aoba 1-chome, Higashi-ku, Fukuoka City.

No official confirmation of injuries or damage estimates has been released.
