As per reports, JR West has suspended train services on the Echizen-Minami-Hokuriku Line between Fukui Station and Miyama Station from around 1913 hours (local time) on Monday (16 February), following a train malfunction at Echizen-Hanado Station.

As a result of the disruption, multiple train services on the affected section were cancelled, including selected evening services operating in the Fukui-Echizen Ono direction. The exact time for service resumption has not yet been announced.
