As per reports, 18 schools in Vadodara received bomb threats on Monday (16 February). Police personnel and bomb disposal squads have been deployed to the impacted schools. The schools which received bomb threats include D. R. Amin School, Vasna Road; Urmi School, Samasavali; Nalanda International School, Waghodia Road; Baroda High School, Bagikhana; Navyug School, Sama Road; Jeevan Sadhana School, Nagarwada; AW School, Dabhoi; Shanen School, Khodiyar Nagar; Gujarat Public School, Waghodia; Bright School, Bhayali; Billabong School, Vadsar; Atmiya Vidyalaya, Manjalpur; Don Bosco School, Manjalpur; Oxalium School, Manjalpur; Zenith School, Pratapnagar; American School of Baroda, Ajwa Road; Baroda Public School, Waghodia; and Green Valley School, Ampad.

The students staying in the school hostel were immediately shifted to the open ground. To prevent any untoward incident, an intensive check of the vehicles in the entire school premises and parking lot has been carried out. Authorities are conducting necessary investigations and search operations. Further details awaited.
