Traffic restrictions announced on I-135 in Kansas on Friday (13 February)

As per reports, the City of Wichita is continuing the Interstate 135 (I-135) Sanitary Sewer Relocation project in Wichita, Kansas on Friday (13 February), involving reconstruction of the sanitary sewer pipe currently located under the southbound lanes of I-135, with the new sewer line being constructed along Southeast Boulevard and within the adjacent neighborhood south of Pawnee Street.

• Southeast Boulevard is reduced to one lane in each direction from Pawnee Street to north of Wassall Street; left turns are open for northbound Southeast Boulevard onto Pawnee Street; southbound left turns on Pawnee Street remain restricted and the southbound I-135 off ramp onto Pawnee Street remains open to one lane of traffic.
• No full roadway closure has been announced; however, lane compression and signalized intersection adjustments remain in place.
