As per reports, early education providers, educators and parents from across New York City are scheduled to organise a rally at the steps of New York City Hall at approximately 1200 hours local time (1700 hours UTC) on Thursday (12 February).

The participants are demanding ‘pay parity for all’, following longstanding wage disparities between early childhood education providers and Department of Education (DOE) public school teachers.
