As per reports, local authorities have announced traffic control measures in the San Sisto neighborhood of Perugia to allow Carnival float parades to take place on Sunday (08 February) and 15 February.
• Traffic is scheduled to be prohibited for all categories of vehicles along the parade route, including Piazza Martinelli, Via Tagliapietra, Viale San Sisto, Via Donizetti, Via Cimarosa, Via Mascagni, and Via Pergolesi, following a looped route through the district.
• Parking is expected to be prohibited, with removal enforced, on Via Pergolesi and in the parking area in front of the school building.
• The traffic restrictions are scheduled to be in effect from 0800 hours local time (0700 hours UTC) until 2100 hours local time (2000 hours UTC) on Sunday (08 February). The same measures are expected to apply again on 15 February.
• An exemption applies only to vehicles transporting technical equipment and display or sales materials for event operators.
• The restrictions are expected to be introduced progressively in line with the movement of the parade.
