As per reports, a passenger bus collided with five motorcycles, three multi-purpose vehicles (MPVs), and a van at the corner of Taft Avenue and Pedro Gil in Ermita, Manila, at around 2100 hours (local time) on Tuesday (03 February).

Few injuries were reported, while some of the victims are still recovering in the hospital.

• Reports indicate that the bus was already traveling at high speed before the collision.
• Manila DRRM and Barangay 669 personnel immediately responded to assist the victims.
• Police are still investigating whether the bus lost its brakes or human error caused the road crash.
