BJP to hold protest march in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday (20 January)

As per reports, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will take out a protest march on Tuesday (20 January) in Thiruvananthapuram against the sitting Kazhakkoottam Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) and former Devaswom Minister Kadakampally Surendran in connection with the alleged Sabarimala gold theft case.

• The march is scheduled to begin at 1100 hours (local time) and will be led by senior BJP leader and former Union Minister V Muraleedharan.
• The protest is expected to witness participation from senior leaders of the BJP’s Thiruvananthapuram city district committee.
• The agitation is part of a broader mobilisation strategy, with additional protests reportedly planned in the coming days at the residences and offices of A Padmakumar, Adoor Prakash, and Priyanka Gandhi in the coming days.
• Further, the BJP Yuva Morcha (Youth Wing) is scheduled to stage a protest at the Kerala Legislative Assembly on Wednesday (21 January).
