As per reports, a major vehicle accident occurred on Interstate 35 (I-35) Southbound in San Antonio on Sunday (18 January).

• The incident was reported at approximately 0920 hours (local time) near Burbank High School (Southside San Antonio).
• At least two lanes on the southbound I-35 at Burbank were closed by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to facilitate emergency response.
• Traffic was reported as “stop and go” with significant backups stretching from Theo Avenue (Exit 152) back to the I-10/US-90/US-87 interchange (Exit 153).
• As of the initial reporting, no information regarding injuries or fatalities has been confirmed.
