As per reports, the East Japan Railway Company (JR East) suspended all JR Yamanote Line inner and outer loop services from the first train on Friday (16 January) due to a power outage.

Inspection and restoration work is ongoing; however, as of 0700 hours (local time), there is no confirmed timeline for service resumption.
