As per reports, workers of the Bharatiya Rashtriya Samiti (BRS) are staging a sit-in protest outside the Hyderabad Central Crime Station (CCS) in the Baseerbagh area on Wednesday (14 January) afternoon. The protest is to demand the release of arrested journalists, allegedly being held at the station.

Prior to the protest, BRS working president KT Rama Rao had strongly condemned the Indian National Congress (INC)-led Telangana State Government for the alleged overnight arrest of three journalists in the state.
