As per reports, following are the latest updates on the unrest surrounding the demolition drive in Turkman Gate area of Old Delhi, as of Sunday (11 January):

• On Sunday (11 January), the Delhi Police arrested two more individuals in connection with the stone pelting that occurred at Turkman Gate, taking the total number of arrests related to the case to 18.
• Elaborate security arrangements are being reportedly maintained in sensitive pockets of the Turkman Gate area, with deployment of police and paramilitary personnel expected to ensure law and order.
• Officials have stated that drone surveillance and extensive CCTV monitoring are being carried out to keep a close watch in the area.
• Currently, the situation appears to be peaceful and under control.
