As per reports, farmers’ union actions are continuing across Côte-d’Or on Thursday (08 January), with coordinated protests organised by the Departmental Federation of Agricultural Unions of Côte-d’Or (FDSEA 21) and the Young Farmers of Côte-d’Or.
• Key toll infrastructure remains central to the mobilisation. Farmers are maintaining pressure at the Beaune Sud toll roundabout, which was occupied until late Wednesday (07 January), and actions are expected to continue at the Til-Châtel toll area. A return to the Pouilly-en-Auxois toll plaza is also planned, conditional on the removal of materials previously deposited at the site.
• Additional toll plazas are scheduled to be targeted during the day. The Arc-sur-Tille toll plaza is expected to be blocked from 1400 hours local time (1300 hours UTC), while farmers plan to arrive at the Bierre-lès-Semur toll plaza from approximately 1000 hours local time (0900 hours UTC), increasing the likelihood of early congestion and detours.
• Parallel actions are planned away from highways, with farmers strengthening their presence in northern Côte-d’Or. Gatherings are scheduled in Baigneux-lès-Juifs at 1000 hours local time (0900 hours UTC), followed by actions at 1100 hours local time (1000 hours UTC) in Saulieu, Précy-sous-Thil, and Venarey-Les Laumes, where roads and roundabouts are expected to be blocked.
