Closure of Interstate 25 in Albuquerque scheduled from 27 January

As per reports, from 27 January, authorities in Albuquerque have announced scheduled overnight traffic closures related to ongoing construction work on the Montgomery Boulevard bridge over Interstate 25.

• The closures are scheduled to begin on the night of 27 January and are expected to continue through the night of 28 January, covering two consecutive nights, subject to weather conditions and operational requirements.
• During this period, crews are scheduled to install structural beams over I 25, requiring full overnight closures from 2000 hours local time to 0600 hours local time (0300 hours UTC to 1300 hours UTC).
• Both northbound and southbound lanes of I 25 are scheduled to be closed between the Montgomery Boulevard off ramps and on ramps.
• Traffic is scheduled to be detoured using the Pan American Frontage Road, crossing Montgomery Boulevard, and re entering the freeway via the Montgomery Boulevard on ramps.
• Eastbound and westbound Montgomery Boulevard are also scheduled to be closed between Culture Drive and the northbound Pan American Frontage Road during the same overnight hours.
• Additional detour routes are scheduled to be available via Comanche Road, Carlisle Boulevard, Jefferson Street, Edith Boulevard, and Culture Drive, depending on travel direction.
