As per reports, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Traffic Department has announced that traffic on Le Loi Street in Saigon Ward will be adjusted from Tuesday to Monday (06-12 January). The restrictions are made to facilitate a technology exhibition and music and art performance celebrating the New Year.
Following this, the car lane on Le Loi Street, Saigon Ward, the section from Nguyen Hue to Pasteur, will be closed to traffic.
• To avoid the car lane on Le Loi Street, commuters can use the mixed-traffic lane on Le Loi Street or parallel and adjacent streets such as Ham Nghi Street and Le Thanh Ton Street to bypass Le Loi Street.
• Meanwhile, intersections with Le Loi Street, such as Pasteur, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, and Phan Boi Chau, will continue to operate normally.
• Authorities have advised drivers to reduce speed and comply with instructions from traffic police, traffic control officers, and parking of vehicles is prohibited on Le Loi Street (mixed lane), in the section where the event is taking place, or at intersections.
