As per reports, Eurostar announced that passengers should be prepare for delays on Wednesday (31 December) as services were affected on Tuesday (30 December) by a power outage in the Channel Tunnel and a failed LeShuttle train blocked all routes.
• Although some Eurostar services between London and Europe resumed on Tuesday (30 December) evening, the train operator warned there could still be a long wait as only one line was available to run trains on.
• LeShuttle services between Folkestone and Calais are resuming as of Wednesday (31 December), while warning of six-hour delays has been issued at the Folkestone terminal.
