As per reports, the Portuguese Institute for the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) issued a yellow weather warning for multiple Portugal districts due to persistent low minimum temperature values effective on Friday (26 December).
• The warning covers Bragança, Viseu, Porto, Guarda, Vila Real, Viana do Castelo, Castelo Branco, Aveiro, Coimbra, Portalegre, and Braga districts.
• Health authorities recommend avoiding sudden temperature changes, dressing in multiple clothing layers adjustable to environmental conditions, protecting extremities with hats, gloves, and warm socks, and wearing non-slip footwear to prevent falls on cold surfaces.
