As per reports, service disruptions are scheduled to affect Lyon’s tram line T6 on Monday (15 December) and Tuesday (16 December) to allow for operational tests linked to the upcoming extension of the line.
• On Monday (15 December), T6 service are expected to be completely suspended from 2100 hours local time (2000 hours UTC). On Tuesday (16 December), partial service are expected to operate only between Debourg and Beauvisage Centre Intercommunal de Santé Lyon (CISL) during the same hours.
• To maintain continuity of travel, shuttle buses are expected to replace tram operations between Hopitaux Est and Debourg on Monday (15 December), and between Beauvisage CISL and Hopitaux Est on Tuesday (16 December), running at twenty-minute intervals. Transports en Commun Lyonnais (TCL) has confirmed that the full T6 extension is scheduled to enter service on 14 February 2026.
