According to the Hong Kong Transport Department, temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented on Ma Sik Road, Fanling, from 0001 hours (local time) to 0500 hours (local time) daily on Friday (12 December) to Friday (19 December). The details are as follows:

• The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:
• The slow lane of Ma Sik Road eastbound from a point about 115 metres west of its junction with Luen Chit Street to the same junction.
• The slow lane of Ma Sik Road eastbound from a point about 70 metres west of its junction with Wo Tai Street and Ma Tak Road to the same junction.
• Ma Tak Road southbound from a point about 72 metres north of its junction with Wo Tai Street and Ma Sik Road to the same junction.
• The fast lane of Ma Tak Road northbound from a point about 72 metres north of its junction with Wo Tai Street and Ma Sik Road to the same junction.
• Wo Tai Street from its junction with Wo Mun Street to its junction with Ma Sik Road and Ma Tak Road.
• The fast lane of Wo Tai Street northbound from a point about 106 metres south of its junction with Wo Mun Street to the same junction.
• Ma Sik Road eastbound and westbound from a point about 190 metres east of its junction with Wo Tai Street and Ma Tak Road to the same junction.
• The fast lane of Ma Sik Road westbound from a point about 43 metres west of its junction with Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau to a point about 80 metres west of the same junction.
• Lane conversion:
• A section of Ma Tak Road from a point about 72 metres north of its junction with Wo Tai Street and Ma Sik Road to the same junction will be temporarily converted from two-lane two-way traffic into one-lane two-way traffic.

• Vehicles on Ma Sik Road eastbound heading for Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau eastbound will be diverted via Luen Chit Street southbound, Wo Muk Road eastbound, Luen On Street eastbound and Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau eastbound.
• Vehicles on Luen Chit Street northbound heading for Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau eastbound will be diverted via Ma Sik Road westbound, Fan Leng Lau Road southbound, Wo Muk Road eastbound, Luen On Street eastbound and Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau eastbound.
• Vehicles on Ma Tak Road southbound heading for Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau eastbound will be diverted via Ma Sik Road westbound, Luen Chit Street southbound, Wo Muk Road eastbound, Luen On Street eastbound and Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau eastbound.
• Vehicles on Wo Tai Street eastbound heading for Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau eastbound will be diverted via Wo Mun Street southbound, Luen On Street eastbound and Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau eastbound.
• Vehicles on Wo Tai Street eastbound heading for Ma Sik Road westbound will be diverted via Wo Mun Street southbound, Luen On Street westbound, Wo Muk Road westbound, Fan Leng Lau Road northbound and Ma Sik Road westbound.
• Vehicles on Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau eastbound heading for Ma Sik Road westbound will be diverted via Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau eastbound, roundabout, Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau westbound, Luen On Street westbound, Wo Muk Road westbound, Fan Leng Lau Road northbound and Ma Sik Road westbound.
• Vehicles on Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau westbound heading for Ma Sik Road westbound will be diverted via Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau westbound, Luen On Street westbound, Wo Muk Road westbound, Fan Leng Lau Road northbound and Ma Sik Road westbound.
• Vehicles (length over 12m) on Ma Sik Road eastbound heading for Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau eastbound will be diverted via Fan Leng Lau Road southbound, Wo Muk Road eastbound, Luen On Street eastbound and Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau eastbound.
• Vehicles exceeding 12 metres in length on Ma Tak Road southbound and Ma Sik Road westbound heading for Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau eastbound will be diverted via Ma Sik Road westbound, Fan Leng Lau Road southbound, Wo Muk Road eastbound, Luen On Street eastbound and Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau eastbound.
