As per reports, spontaneous markets have been encroaching on roads and sidewalks in Rach Gia Ward, An Giang Province on Sunday (07 December), causing traffic insecurity.

• Traders occupy roadways and sidewalks at intersections, including Ngo Gia Tu – Tran Nhat Duat, leading to significant congestion during morning hours.
• Vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians are likely to navigate through crowded areas, slow traffic and increasing potential for accidents.
• Waste from market activities, including meat, fish, and plastics, is improperly disposed of, resulting in local environmental pollution and drainage blockages.
• Continued disruptions are likely due to persistent encroachment by traders and insufficient compliance with urban order regulations.
