As per reports, the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) has issued a yellow warning for sudden ice slips across multiple counties throughout Friday (28 November).

• Reports indicate freezing rainfall is expected to move in from the southwest during the night toward Friday (28 November), creating hazardous icy conditions as rainfall falls on cold road surfaces.
• The warning, which initially covered only central Norrland, was expanded on Thursday (27 November) evening to include northernmost Värmland, northern Dalarna, parts of Jämtland County, Västernorrland County, and northernmost Gävleborg County. This warning is valid until 0900 hours local time (2300 hours–0800 hours UTC) on Friday (28 November).
• A second warning applies to parts of Västerbotten and the coastal region of Norrbotten, from south of Umeå up to Övertorneå. This alert is active from 0600 hours to 1500 hours local time (0500 hours–1400 hours UTC) on Friday (28 November).
• SMHI urges road users to exercise caution, reduce speed, and be alert for icy surfaces. Authorities also warn of potential delays or cancellations in public transport, particularly during the morning commute and early afternoon travel window.
