As per reports, organic and livestock farmers in Greece plan nationwide protests from Monday (30 November) until Friday (5 December). Tractors are expected to be deployed to village squares and key roads to set up blockades.

The actions are coordinated by the Pan-Hellenic Committee of the Blocs, with participation from over 100 Agricultural Associations and multiple federations across the country.

• The protests aim to pressure the government over delayed payments, low agricultural prices, high production costs, and issues related to the EU CAP policy.
• Farmers also demand guaranteed minimum prices, compensation for livestock losses, reduced production costs, tax relief on fuel and electricity, and infrastructure improvements.
