Car crash and fire disrupt traffic on Madison Beltline on Monday (17 November)

As per reports, on Monday (17 November), a multi-vehicle crash occurred along the Madison Beltline at Todd Drive, Madison, Wisconsin. The incident involved several vehicles and resulted in a vehicle fire, which caused significant traffic delays.

At approximately 0600 hours local time, the westbound lanes at Todd Drive were fully closed, and the two left eastbound lanes were also closed due to the crash and fire.

• Firefighters extinguished the vehicle fire shortly after arrival. Madison Fire Department confirmed that no individuals were transported to the hospital. As of 1300 hours local time, all lanes had reopened.
• Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the cause of the crash. Police and fire personnel advised drivers to expect residual delays due to ongoing debris clearance and investigation during the afternoon.
