As per reports, following are the latest updates on the security situation in Dhaka as of Sunday (16 November);

• Home adviser Lieutenant General (Retd) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury on Saturday (15 November) stated that the law enforcement agencies have already taken all required preparations to prevent any untoward incident centering the verdict to be announced on Monday (17 November) against ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina.
• The International Crimes Tribunal-1 will broadcast live its verdict in the crimes against humanity case against three accused, including ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina. The judgement will be shown on Bangladesh Television and on large screens at several locations in Dhaka.
