As per reports, Vice-President C.P. Radhakrishnan is scheduled to visit Melkote in Mandya district of Karnataka on Sunday (09 November). The Deputy Commissioner has directed officials to ensure all necessary arrangements are made efficiently and no lapses occur during preparations.

• Officials have been instructed to ensure uninterrupted power supply and internet connectivity, cleanliness along the roads, deployment of a fully-equipped ambulance with trained medical personnel, and security measures at the venue.
• The Fire and Emergency Services Department will manage safety arrangements at the helipad and main venue, with suitable parking also provided.
• Police officials will ensure smooth traffic management and security along the Vice-President’s route.
