Traffic disruptions due to truckers’ march in Mexico City on Wednesday (29 October)

As per reports, the Broad Transport Force (FAT) has announced a major protest in Mexico City scheduled for Wednesday (29 October). The demonstration is expected to involve thousands of vehicles and is expected to block or partially obstruct several major roads and highways, significantly impacting city-wide mobility.

• Expected affected routes include, but are not limited to:
Mexico–Pachuca Highway; Ignacio Zaragoza Causeway; Northern Ring Road, and several other main arteries across the city
• Suggested alternatives include using the Northern Inner Ring Road, Eje 1 Oriente, Avenida José María Izazaga, Insurgentes Avenue, Chapultepec Avenue, Tlalpan Causeway, and side lanes of the Periférico.
• Public transportation not relying on concessioned vehicles, such as Metro, Metrobús, or Light Rail, is also recommended.
