As per reports, a public demonstration in support of abortion rights is scheduled to take place on Saturday (01 November) outside Adelaide Parliament House on North Terrace in Adelaide at around 1300 hours (local time). Participants are expected to gather outside the Parliament House entrance before the start time and remain in the vicinity during the protest period.

The protest is organised by Velvet Klass and aims to draw attention to proposed amendments to South Australia’s abortion laws, specifically a bill introduced by Independent MP Sarah Game, which seeks to restrict access to abortions after twenty-three weeks by removing mental health as a valid reason.
