As per reports, a protest march is scheduled to take place to the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Monday (20 October) to pressure the Federal Government to release Nnamdi Kanu, who is the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra.

• The Progressives Unity and Development Forum (PUDF) has cautioned the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and activist Omoyele Sowore against actions that could lead to destruction of government facilities during the planned nationwide protest.
• PUDF expressed concern that the protest could reportedly be hijacked by hoodlums or political opportunists, potentially resulting in violence or attacks on government property.
