Unemployed youth protest reported in Khammam on Thursday (25 September)

As per reports, the unemployed youth in Khammam took out a protest rally on Thursday (25 September), and staged a dharna at Ambedkar Centre, demanding that the State government issue job notifications.

• The protest was held under the banner of ‘Khammam Unemployed Youth JAC’, and over 1000 unemployed youth reportedly marched on the streets, while demanding the release of the job calendar, implementation of the Youth Declaration of the Congress, and notifications for two lakh jobs.
• In addition, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader Enugula Rakesh Reddy reportedly addressed the rally.
• Further demands also included an inquiry into irregularities in the recruitment of constables, teachers, Group exams, among others.
