Accident witnessed in Indore, Madhya Pradesh on Monday (15 September); casualties reported

According to reports, a high-speed truck collided with several people and vehicles on Airport Road in Indore on Monday evening (15 September). Following are the latest updates;

• According to Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Amit Singh, two people have died and six others were injured. Witnesses claim that seven to eight people may have died.
• During the accident, the truck caught fire after a bike got stuck under it. Police and fire teams reached the site and began rescue operations.
• The driver has been arrested and taken to Malharganj police station. He is undergoing a medical checkup while the truck has been seized for further action.
• Injured people have been transferred to Geetanjali Hospital.
