As per reports, a second day of strike action by Trablisa security staff is ongoing at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport on Monday (15 September).

• The industrial action, initiated on Sunday (14 September), is over demands for improved working conditions and a Madrid-specific bonus, citing an excessive workload.
• The strike has resulted in security screening delays of approximately 60 minutes, causing passenger queues. The situation, while disruptive, is reported to be less severe than on Sunday (14 September).
• Trablisa has requested the Regional Institute of Mediation and Arbitration declare the strike illegal.
• Airlines, through the Association of Airlines (ALA), have demanded an immediate solution from airport operator Aena.
