The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued weather alerts in the following metro cities, as of Saturday (13 September) :

• Mumbai and Pune- No warning has been issued in the forecast for Mumbai. However, yellow alert for light rainfall has been issued in the Nowcast for Mumbai and Pune. Yellow alert for thunderstorm and lightning has been issued in the forecast for Pune.
• Delhi, Gurugram, and Noida – No warning has been issued in the forecast or nowcast.
• Bengaluru – A yellow alert for thunderstorm, lightning, squall, and strong surface wind has been issued in the forecast. No alerts have been issued in the nowcast.
• Hyderabad – A yellow alert for thunderstorms, lightning, squalls, and strong surface wind has been issued in the forecast. Meanwhile, no active warning alert is activated in the nowcast.
• Chennai – No warnings have been issued in the forecast. Yellow alert for light thunderstorms and moderate rainfall has been issued in the nowcast.
• Kolkata – No warning has been issued in the forecast or nowcast.
• Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar – No warning has been issued in the forecast or nowcast.
