As per reports, the George Municipality has scheduled a planned power outage for Palgrave Street in George South on Friday (12 September) from 0900 hours local time (0700 hours UTC) to 1000 hours local time (0800 hours UTC). The outage is scheduled for alterations to the electrical mains.

• The municipality has cautioned consumers to treat all electrical installations as working for the entire duration, as power may be restored at any time within the notified window.
• Should work be prevented during the scheduled period, it is expected to be carried out on the same time on 19 September.
