As per reports, on Wednesday (10 September), hundreds of people gathered at Sana’a University in Sana’a to protest against Israel’s attack on the Hamas negotiating team in Qatar and ongoing military actions in Gaza.
• The protest, led by the university president, senior academics, administrators, and students, was held under the slogan ‘Stand firm with Gaza and reject Zionist aggression.’ Demonstrators carried Yemeni and Palestinian flags, chanting slogans condemning Israel, the United States, and Western nations, while also criticising the silence of Arab and Islamic governments.
• The march reaffirmed Yemeni solidarity with Gaza, voicing readiness to participate in ‘holy jihad’ alongside Palestinian fighters. Protesters also denounced the ‘genocide, starvation, and massacres’ in Gaza.
