As per reports, lightning strikes, severe gusts of wind, as well as sudden heavy rainfall, are expected in Fukui Prefecture through the evening of Thursday (11 September).
• A front is stretching from the Sea of Japan side through eastern Japan to the east of Japan. The front is expected to stagnate near Honshu on Thursday (11 September).
• While the possibility of heavy rainfall warnings has decreased in Fukui Prefecture, the influence of warm, humid air flowing toward the front is expected to keep the atmosphere very unstable through the evening of Thursday (11 September).
• According to the Fukui Regional Meteorological observatory’s weather forecast, it will be rainy in Fukui Prefecture on Thursday (11 September), with cloudy skies from midday onwards.
• The probability of precipitation is 50 percent from 0600 hours to noon in both the northern and southern regions, 30 percent from noon to 1800 hours, and 30 percent from 1800 hours to midnight on Friday (12 September).
• The predicted maximum temperatures on Thursday (11 September) are 31 degrees Celsius in Fukui, 29 degrees Celsius in Ono, and 30 degrees Celsius in Tsuruga.
