As per reports, the Iraqi Interior Ministry reported clashes between two rival tribes in the Saada district of Baghdad, on Saturday (06 September), causing six fatalities, including four police officers, and nine injured.
• According to security sources, the clashes were triggered by a price hike imposed by a private energy company.
• Forces that arrived on the scene to stop the clashes were reportedly targeted by gunfire, leading to casualties. Two officers later died from injuries sustained during the operation.
