PDMA issues high alert for heavy rainfall, flash floods, and landslides across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from Sunday (07 September) to Tuesday (09 September)

As per reports, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, based on forecasts by the Meteorological Department, has issued a high alert for intermittent rain, wind, thunderstorms, and heavy rainfall in parts of the province between Sunday (07 September) and Tuesday (09 September).

Flash flooding is possible in local drains, streams, and rivers in upper and central districts, including Galiat, Mansehra, Upper/Lower Kohistan, Kolaipalas, Abbottabad, Buner, Bajaur, Battagram, Hangu, Torghar, Haripur, Karak, Upper/Lower Chitral, Upper/Lower Dir, Swat, Shangla, Khyber, Kohat, Nowshera, Swabi, Mardan, Kurram, Lakki Marwat, Malakand, Mohmand, Orakzai, Bannu, North/South Waziristan, and Tank.
