As per reports, from Thursday (04 September) until Sunday (07 September) the German Environmental Aid (DUH) and Fridays for Future are reportedly organizing a climate camp on the island of Borkum to protest against natural gas extraction in the North Sea.
• Around 200 participants are expected, with workshops, discussions, concerts, and readings taking place during the camp.
• A climate strike and demonstration are scheduled for Friday (05 September) at the Borkum train station, culminating in a rally through the town.
• Climate activist Luisa Neubauer is expected to attend, adding visibility and drawing additional participants.
