As per reports, on Tuesday (02 September) morning around 1000 hours (local time) a liquid oxygen leak occurred at a rehabilitation clinic located at 4700 Monroe Avenue, near Álvarez Thomas Street in the Villa Urquiza neighborhood of Buenos Aires.
• The incident was reportedly caused by a broken valve on one of the tanks, leading to the release of liquid oxygen. Firefighters, SAME (National Emergency Medical Service), and specialized emergency brigades were immediately deployed to secure the area.
• Several nearby buildings were evacuated as a precautionary measure to protect residents from potential health and safety risks.
• To ensure safety, a full traffic closure was reportedly imposed around the affected area, and emergency teams, including medical units and respiratory equipment units, remained active on-site.
